The A194 ASTM Grade 6 Heavy Hex Nuts and other products include 11.5 – 13.5% chromium in their chemical compositions. So these nuts have exceptional corrosion resistance. The Gr 6 ASTM A194 Acorn Nuts also have a max torque strength. They are, therefore, ideal for demanding applications where considerable torque can be utilized to tighten the nuts. Manganese, Carbon, silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus are all included in the substance together with chromium. The Grade 6 Nuts composition enables it to have excellent tensile and yield capabilities. With a 30% elongation rate, the minimum yield point is 240 MPa, and the minimal level of yield strength is 550 MPa. The products have a 223 BHN value and a high hardness level.
