Alloy 20 Bolts provide clients with a combination of Ni, Cr, Mo, and Cu, which provide superior general corrosion resistance. These fasteners are also referred to as Carpenter 20 and 20CB-3. Bolts made with alloy 20 (2.4660) are ideal for use in environments with moderate corrosion. They perform better than steel alloys but not to the same extent as high-performance nickel-based alloys such as Hastelloy C276. Alloy 20 is a nickel alloy that not only functions exceptionally well in several different acids but was developed with the sole purpose of withstanding the severe conditions present in boiling sulfuric acid. This is the case when WNRF 2.4660 Anchor Bolts are an excellent choice to think about using. This is the case when you should go with alloy 20 bolts.
ASTM B366 Alloy 20 U bolts have an excellent performance in hot sulfuric acid. More precisely, they have a strong resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in boiling sulfuric acid at particular ranges of concentration ranging from 20% to 40%, in addition to having high resistance to sulfuric acid in general. In addition, bolts made of Alloy 20 exhibit beneficial resistance to phosphoric acid as well as nitric acid.

In addition to their resistance to corrosion, DIN 2.4660 Hex Bolt also work well at temperatures that are somewhat high. They are able to keep their mechanical strength up to a temperature of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit, which is quite an accomplishment.
In order to reduce the amount of carbide that precipitates during the welding process, Welding UNS N08020 Flange Head bolts are stabilized with columbium. Additionally, it gives resistance to intergranular corrosion in the as-welded condition.
